I have a dispropotionate attachment to this type of stove top coffee maker. My grandmother is in there somewhere. To this day it is the only way I make coffee. In my house I am strictly in charge of breakfast because I love to watch over the pot as it bubbles the coffee up to the top chamber. All my family seems to have a particular object I associate with them.
