My painting process involves collage and sectional images repeated in multiple layers, using archival papers and elements of my acrylic paintings and photography to create collages on wood panels that are then layered with encaustic medium and paint.

This landscape inspired abstract painting was begun as a collage using bits of acrylic paintings, photography and archival papers. Hills and fields of the Hudson Valley, summer colors, and happy moods all contributed to my decision making as the layers of encaustics were added.
