Vertical and horizontal lines in the multiple layers in “Lining Space” reveal both the density and space in the grid structure. While the surface design in “Paper Play #1” was applied to the reverse side of hand made paper panels, the application of mediums to the front allowed what was concealed to become visible. The draping of lines of thread in “Party Dress” outline a recognizable form and suggest the underlying structure of a garment.
