Ever since I was a child I have been terrified of deep water. Constant nightmares of near drowning or being lost at sea that turn me back into that terrified child until I wake gasping. And although they are dreams I can still distinctly remember feeling cold and tasting the salt water, our minds are strange in how they make our dreams so vivid like they are almost more real than reality.
