Contemporary realism painted from life in a north lit studio. I am an artist that paints from life and tries to capture the light. Working primarily in pastel and oil, I try to paint the luminous colors I see, which cannot be discerned in photographs. Painting is a joy for me. I love color and I hope my paintings depict the beauty I see in daily life.
