This piece was drawing during the summer of 2018. I had just gone to a concert where I suffered nerve damage to my inner ears. My world was shattered. No one had figured it out. I had wanted to fly. I sat outside one day in Montclair, and drew these pears. I used abaca/flax that had hardened and texturized in the refrigerator. I loved the texture of the paper, and drawing atop of it.
