With the woods and my art around after covid’s locked downs, I revisited my stone and metal pieces that were made years ago but could be added to. So I welded on the bronzes made from the wax figures I begin in the sessions. This plus the international artists I invite from Instagram gave me a unique chance to make friends and get people’s opinions about my work seven days a week for a year. All these interconnected people have become part of my drawings, paintings and sculptures and added a greater realism and density to the multiple figures fitting together that I have been doing for many years. Sculptures, drawings and paintings are more dense and well realized as I now am using the reference images from my Zoom camera.
