As a former graphic artist, I love to play with color and design. As a painting style, I love Impressionism. To me, painting is like poetry, expressing In as few lines as possible, the mood, feeling and subject.
Peggy Gardner: Sunrise in Snow
Of course, snow is white but how does it really look in shadows and highlights? By using blues, purples and yellows, I wanted to capture the early morning light on snow. Left to my own devices, I keep procrastinating and putting off painting. The critique group keeps me on my toes. Knowing that we meet each month, It is the push I need to get busy and start painting.
