I always try to represent objects in different ways than people expect. ‘Staples’ relies on pattern, texture, and geometrical composition. For ‘Into the Fold’ I drew upon patterns as well, but also used creative lighting to produce the highlights and shadows that provide depth. ‘Redial’ focuses more on storytelling. I positioned the two devices in a way to not only create a physical reflection, but to inspire viewers to reflect on the impact of changes in the ways in which we communicate.
