Art has been an essential part of Maureen’s life. Her artistic interests and pursuits can be credited to her parents, since both were skilled artisans. Spending all of her childhood creating in their workshops, she later came to discover a great deal of satisfaction and freedom in her craft. After extensive studys and instructing art she has worked professionally as an artist for more than 30 years. Her feisty disposition and zest for life are a driving force. With great confidence and determination she has ushered across many challenging thresholds producing murals, wall finishes, decorative and architectural artwork, and fine art as well. Maureen is a firm believer in using her time and talent to help local charities and organizations. She is always open for a challenge and never doubts her abilities. ‘My work is defined by the places I’ve been and worked in the past few decades. As a decorative artist I have developed my tastes and aesthetic being surrounded by the most beautiful homes, created and appointed by the most talented people.’
