As a synesthete, I have a deeply personal connection to color and its evocative power. I paint to experience the sensuality and transcendent nature of “the process”…the lusciousness of the materials…the richness of the pigments…the expression of what cannot be put into words. Inspired by nature, my goal is to amplify, simplify, and abstract what I see in the landscape, so as to excite the viewer with a heightened visual experience.

I have been fortunate to have enjoyed life on both the East and West Coasts, and have studied at The New School/Parsons, The Art Students League of New York, Brentwood Art Center, Yard School of Art, and ArtSpace Studio.
