This drawing began as a transcription of Amendments XI?XXVII written in approximately 4 point type. Next I used an X-acto knife to scratch out each letter one at a time until there was only this soft hazy rectangle remaining. As part of a series of four drawings entitled ?Documents of Freedom? these pieces point to the need for correction and an acknowledgement of past mistakes.
