Mariette Boerstoel Streefland (StreefArt) I am a contemporary artist, who loves to work with bold colors and various techniques. Working with acrylic paint is my creative and emotional outlet. I greatly enjoy that what materials and colors bring out is to be controlled only to a limited extent, to be surprised with the beauty that emerges. My work is about pieces that excite, please, bring wonder, and put life’s stresses into perspective. Focusing on shape, form, color harmony and interplay I work on creating happy, nature inspired scenes for everyone’s own interpretation. My main medium is acrylic on canvas.
