My mission as a visual artist is to open a window onto my odd obsessions (iconic images related to conspiracy theories, fringe pop culture, outsider religions and pseudo-science) and to share a moment of playful joy with my audience. In the tradition Alternative Comix, Pop Surrealism and Visionary Art, I embrace the off-kilter and find comfort there. If this acts as a distraction from a less-than-joyful world for my audience, then…success! My work is goofy and childlike, dream-scaped, yet strangely familiar.
