Art is not my fulltime profession. I am a tenured English as a Second Language teacher. I recently began my 20th year teaching in a public school in NYC. Mostly I am a self-taught photographer. I have photographed using many different genres and styles. Some of my more popular are sunsets, flowers, and seascapes. More recently, I have been re-exploring black and white and photo painting.

Photography is something I began doing as an activity while at sleep-a-way summer camp many years ago. I started with a Kodak Instamatic camera. Over the years I have advanced to 35mm and finally DSLR cameras. Today Nikon is my camera of choice.
