While watching the video performances of Freespace Dance, I was struck by the dancers’ invention of form, which created new definitions of space. As an abstract expressionist artist, my work also addresses the mutability of internal and external environments that opens doors to new narratives. It was a joy to experience the commonality of language between Freespace Dance and my abstract work.
