Jacqueline Hernandez: Indigenous Matriarchy
A sculpture intentionally sculpted as a European Venus, but it was given an indigenous wash of colors, and tribal markings of Olmec and Mayan symbols. The sculpture defines a motherhood matriarchy of three faces that defines the daughter, mother and grandmother.
