This is the second oil painting of the ‘racial profiling’ series. Here, I want the viewer to experience the feeling of helplessness that the figures are feeling. The people in the car are overwhelmed and intimidated by the bright lights and the cops flanking the car on both sides. Again, I use a tense composition, a contrasting color palette and loose brushwork.
