My art is layered with meaning. The paint- ings are journeys into passionate, mysteri- ous emotional places. They are empowered by the intention to promote well-being. My paintings reach for authenticity, self- discovery and an exploration of life’s mys- tery. My creative process focuses on the layering of symbols, brushwork and color and scraping out what is not essential. My art has a loose improvisational spirit that is subtly centered at the same time. The images are expressive, deeply personal and suggestive. They invite multiple interpreta- tions. My ambition is to manifest life in its fullness from melancholy to a rmation and joy.
