As a kid I was dumbstruck by ‘Christmas Eve’, which I first saw at the Montclair Museum of Art 60 some years ago. That painting and ‘Morning on the Seine’, by Monet, inspired me to become an artist. To capture the magic of light, to convey emotion through color, place, tone is and always will be magic. Artists are the magicians who present the world others see in a new way.
