I worked for years in the computer field while making art with physical media to mix and modify chemicals and natural pigments as paint and ink to adjust the electromagnetic energy reflected from surfaces to see images. Now I directly manipulate the electromagnetic wavelengths of light using digital pens and on screen light sources via computer software that emulates the physical world. The final output can be translated for viewing on video screens or printed digital work with archival pigment ink and archival paper. Rather than mixing and pushing paint, I am mixing and pushing pixels. I focus on images of people at moments in time captured to share with digital media, humanity captured in bits and bytes.
