Debrah Block Krol: Mountains under clouds

Debrah Block Krol: Mountains under clouds

SKU: 2021-00193.

My work originates from the desire to explore the relationship between color, form and emotion. I strive to make accessible the feelings that art can evoke, through what makes us human, and our connections with the larger world. Observation is an integral part of creating, and is a way to refine and sharpen my focus.During this time of unknowns, my art is intended to give hope and strength, as I draw strength from creating.
My subject matter is nature-inspired, whether it is a traditional landscape or an abstraction. . To me, an image is powerful and joyful. Experimentation is a big part of my creative process, and I am always learning through it.
