Target Practice is a set of dinner plates painted with target patterns and scribed with bullet holes. They are hung from plate hooks on a fabric wallpaper patterned with used gun range targets.

Over the past year I have focused on the view held by many white Americans is that owning and using a gun is their right. What has brought us to this place? Looking back on my own childhood, I saw that it was filled with toys and television shows that portrayed a gun culture as “good guys with guns” protecting society. This is the myth that needs to be confronted.
