As an artist, Claudia Kreiss is primarily interested in the process and experience of painting and its mysterious, alchemical, transformational power. When painting, she aims to remain fully present, in the moment, with her mixed media materials and be guided by her unconscious, intuition, curiosity, willingness to take risks, and appreciation of the unexpected. She hopes that her paintings intrigue, inspire, and uplift people.
