Greetings, my name is Jason, but I write, create visual art and perform under the name Buttered Roll. My entry for this exhibition consists of several individual pages which will each appear in my forthcoming book “Disjecta Dismembra,” which I am self-publishing in the next month. This project is a visual treatise on the concept of history. It is now and will always be incomplete. The title is a slight manipulation of a Latin phrase “Disjecta membra,” or, scattered fragments. The title itself is indicative of one of the ways that I think of history. I appreciate any and all consideration for this submission. Thank you for your time.
