The work of Inness is truly inspirational. His landscapes invite the viewer in to walk into and inhabit his world. In my own paintings, I too turn to our natural world for inspiration. I look to the night skies filled with the ever-changing moon, meteor showers and swirling clouds, as well as the magic of the Northern New Jersey woods. All instill a sense of the spirit world that connects us to each other and the planet. Working primarily with encaustic wax, oil pigments and ink, I explore pathways into that unseen world.
