Taking my inspiration from the woods and streams of Northwestern, NJ, I look for those moments in Nature where chaos can begin. A twisted pile of branches, ice sheets flowing down the river, or clusters of leaves floating on or submerged in the water. Positive and negative spaces emerge, creating abstract shapes and patterns to be explored. My primary medium is Encaustic Wax with the addition of inks, dyes and oil pigments.
