My practice is a combination of experimentation and process. I take pleasure in using diverse clay bodies, making use of various slips, underglazes, glazes and firing techniques to get unexpected forms and surfaces while being attentive to texture, shape and color. I work mostly in clay, creating intimate, ceramic wall sculptures, paintings and vessels. I started my career as a functional potter. Over the years, my work as grown and changed. My recent investigations explore the relationship between people, tools and nature.
