I’ve been a maker all my life. As a child learning to hook rugs with my great aunt, to building boats with my husband. Painting, stained glass, weaving and welding in between. I discovered my love of clay in the early 90’s. It’s the perfect medium for me because of the immediate results and endless possibilities.
I have designed and make a menagerie of lightweight porcelain animal ornaments which I wholesale to shops and galleries across the country.
I’m currently working on some rather large botanical tiles for kitchen backsplash- or wall hangings.
Functional hand-built pieces include botanical and fish platters, as well as a dory with a crab or lobster on board.
When my schedule allows I enjoy making small sculptures; many of which I raku fire.
I’m lucky to spend my days in the studio making.
