Covid, Covid , is part of my latest series ‘In Memoriam’ which honors both the millions of people globally who have died from Covid as well as the caregivers whose efforts have saved so many lives. The three panels in this triptych are highly textured by both crude hashmarks and discarded PPE. The identity of the latter is marginalized by it’s transparency as well as disarray. Together they form an ad hoc memorial reflecting the sadness and anxiety pervading our lives. My hope is that ‘In Memoriam’ invites healing.
