I am drawn to the landscape and natural forms, with all of the variety they offer, is my biggest inspiration. The patterns that can be found in the seeming randomness of nature, the play of light and shadow, the contrast of hard and soft, the vastness and the minutia all get my attention. I often find it awe-inspiring. This is what drives me to paint and what I try to convey.
