My lifelong interest in nature and my concern about the fragility of our environment has led me to write about and teach environmental design and make this artwork which highlights humankind’s fraying relationship with the natural world. My work on tree bark that I find on the ground during my daily walks is intended to invite curiosity about and ignite awareness of our precious natural resources.
