I have always been enamored with the Hudson River School of American art. George Inness’ work, so representative of that school, brought to life the pristine beauty of the American landscape in a manner that was singularly luminescent. Although I don’t consider myself a landscape photographer, occasionally I find myself in a place that invites me to capture that terrestrial beauty. These images are examples of such moments.
