My oil paintings reflect my interest in light, color and form in a representational and painterly style. Portrayal of structures and their histories have been thematic in my work. Her work is influenced by her upbringing in New York City, living in other cities, spending summers at the Jersey Shore and now residing in Maplewood, NJ. I have been an avid art lover since high school. My interest in form, design and color, with a love of light and line led me to painting. My interest in these artistic elements provided a welcome contrast to my career in finance. Now, after nearly eleven years of study, I am finding a voice by integrating those elements in representations and abstractions of structures, figures and still-lifes.
