I am Immigrant. I came to US when I was 13 years old. I navigate American culture both as an individual person and as liaison for my family. Living between these two spaces I am very aware that I’m not entirely Polish and I not am I entirely American. Within my projects I find a way to articulate my experiences. After the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg I began reading articles that discussed her heritage. I noticed her signature collar was similar to one I wore as a child as a required part of my uniform for school.
