Summer in the City, Urban Buffet and Sanctuary all began from unused discarded books rescued from the landfill and reimagined as worlds onto their own. Summer in the City – an homage to Mondrian – harkens back to the buzzle, heat and density of a metropolis like NYC. Urban Buffet showcase two twin balconies with a set-up for a meal to be consumed in a private oasis among abstractions of city life. Balconies double in Sanctuary and become more intricate through 3D elements offering comfort and peace much like a good book.
