Mabel Dodge Luhan was a patron of the arts who organized the Armory Show in NYC and was a member of the Provincetown Players in Cape Cod, MA. She moved to New Mexico in 1917 where she would become active in the Taos art and literary colony and married Native American Tony Luhan, Old-man Coyote-Trickster g-d of the Wild West.
