I am a mixed media artist living in Beacon NY. Across places and seasons, textures, colors of the earth, and life around me capture my imagination. I am intrigued by the similarity of nature and the human experience, which is full of challenges and changes. I layer, cut and tear photographic images, original prints, paint and other textures to create my images. This process helps me to navigate the essence of ambiguity and complexity that I witness in the world around me.

This piece is so beautiful. I want to live in it for a while…it reminds me of source, origins and core. I see ledges to hang onto and stabilize, caves to inhabit, comforting images of communal heads put together…all in the soft browns and grays of the natural world.
